Spirit lifts the Sat only flight

Post by Kathyzhere »

Hi all,

1st off...had a wonderful visit and only managed to get to STJ once :(
Checked out Vistaero, had lunch @ Aqua Bistro, swam @ Hawksnest, a lil' shopping and gave Mom an island tour.

Just booked our flights for STJ for February!! :D

I can hardly wait to spend our 1st actual visit on STJ!!! Only 8 more months

I know some of you were discussing the Sat only flights that Spirit had in place from FLL to STT. I guess they lifted that rule and I was able to book on a weekday, so I just wanted to report this.
I'm only going with Spirit cuz they have some of my $$$ "hostage". I despise their lack of customer service.

Anyway, I'm off to read a few TR.
 I don't plan on doing one as my visit was mainly to STT.

Enjoy,
Kathy

Spirit has had Sat. only during Sept/Oct/some Nov. since they started service here so your Feb. flight is not a change in policy.
You won't write a trip report about STT?? Did I get on a STJ forum or is it still VI on line? I know tripadvisor.com has designated forums by island.

Hey ez,

When I tried in the past to book on a weekday for Feb a pop-up came up stating that starting September 8th there were only Sat flights. So that's how I found out. So for a while maybe they were anticipating it to follow through? After I got back I tried again just for the heck of it and it went through, no pop-up. Maybe a glitch in their system?

I know I know...this IS a USVI forum BUT...
Don't want to go there really, so I'll just leave it at that.
I will say that our condo @ Mahogany Run at the very top of the ridge overlooking; Hans Lolick, Jost, Tortola and a bit of STJ was a million dollar view!!
We had a great time as usual but really looking forward to STJ the entire visit next time.
Oh, was really disappointed with Indigo this visit. Have you been since the change of ownership?

Enjoy.

Hey Paula,

Yes, from the lil' bit we saw of Vistaero we LOVED it!! We only checked it out from the outside, even so, it's got us very excited. It appeared to be no one at the place but we didn't want to get caught snooping around. DSJ said that we could just ask the tenants if we could take a look but I wouldn't want to infringe on anyone's privacy. So we took a quick look and a few shots of the property and FABULOUS view.

We were already pretty confident about the place especially after your TR & review  Thanks!

The only real concern was the driving up to...turned out to be fine...no problem.

Sooo now we just wait for 8 months

Take care end enjoy the "summa"
