Album title Be As you Are - whole album is island related. I have 2 copies, one for house, one for car - listen to it every single day!!! What? Obsessed? Me?
I am not a KC fan but purchased the Be As You Are album to bring down with us in May. I love the album and the songs are still going around in my head a month later. It will hopefully get me thru till our next trip in May 2009!
Just to avoid confusion, the Cinnamon Bay reference is in the song "Old Blue Chair" which is found on two albums - "When the Sun Goes Down" (the last track) and "Be As You Are" (the first track).
"From that chair I've caught
a few fish and some rays,
and I've watched boats sail,
in and out of Cinnamon Bay.
I let go of a lover,
that took a piece of my heart.
Prayed many times for forgiveness,
and a brand new start."
I agree that the "Be as You Are" is an Island must have but another one is, Buffett's " License To Chill" and only 10 bucks with free shipping on $25 or more. Can't beat it..
Boats - Just remember it is better to be $issed OFF than $issed ON! (Unless it is one of those jelly fish stingy thingies).
Luv Ya, See you in November.
and dont forget... it is also the LAST song on "Be as You Are.: I like that acoustic version. It sounds like he recorded it on a tape recorder while sitting on the beach at Cinammon Bay!

Hope ya'll enjoyed it! I love it when he plays this in concert....the lights go down, and I just close my eyes and think about being back on the beach again. For anyone who doesn't have the CD, it's really a must...takes me to the islands every day.
