Back to reality

Post by Kentuckygirl »

Hi everyone!
We got back from STJ very late Wednesday night. We had a wonderful time! It was fun meeting some friends from the forum at the Beach Bar Sunday.
Captain John, I saw your post on another topic. I had no idea that was you on the other boat ... I wish I would have!
I am working on my pictures. My Olympus 770 took in some water and quit during the trip, so I was stuck with i-phone pictures the rest of the time. I will post them all once I get them all loaded, along with a report. I'm on my way to a baseball game now, but I'll work on them shortly.

Can't keep the girl out of KY! We'll wave on Wednesday as we drive by on the way to Buffalo Trace.

Cheers, RickG

On behalf of bayer, me, and the cicadas, "Welcome home, kygirl!" (Bet it was nice to get a few days reprieve from those nasty things.) Glad you had a good trip and looking forward to hearing all about it. Bad news about the camera, but maybe it's still under warranty.

Buffalo Trace, eh, RickG? Sounds like a potential forum gathering to me. :)

I'm not sure what I did. My sister and I were passing it back and forth underwater, so who knows. I have had it about 15 months or so and I didn't send it back to get it resealed ... maybe I should have. The pictures that I had already taken are fine. I'm going to see about getting it fixed, because it doesn't seem totally dead. It says that the Card-cover is open, although it's not. I'm just glad that it is showing something.

Sea-nile, I felt like I had just left too!

RickG,
I know that pjayer pm'd you. Do you think you and Christine can make it for a last minute gathering Wednesday? It looks good for us.

I'm still working on my pictures. I will get them posted asap! Thanks everyone!

Hi Kygirl,

I have the Olympus 790 & it did the same thing to me in May, & mine was brand new. I let it sit for a few days( good thing we had friends with a camera) & it is working fine.

Hopefully yours will as well,

The Shopper
