Ferry on Sunday

Hello vacation experts. We may be able to swing a last minute trip in July if all goes well. I have a few questions that I know some of you will know the answers to. Will the downtown ferry be operating in July on Sunday? How crowded is the car ferry that leaves from Redhook on Sundays and do they have limited schedules on the weekend or do they operate a regular schedule?

regular as the islands can be. never had a problem getting on the car ferry on sunday.
