Cooler question

Post by beach1 »

Our family is traveling to STJ in July and have a question for those of you who take frozen food with you. Is it permitted to take as a carry on (like a soft sided cooler) and are there any foods not allowed??

I have never had any problems with carry on frozen foods. But I did not pack any frozen liquids in the cooler or use any ice.

Yep, as long as the cooler conforms to the carryon dimensions you are fine. No frozen liquids, ice packs or techni-ice. If you pack it tight and get things as cold as possible you'll be fine.

The only thing that I've found a challenge to keep frozen without ice packs is shrimp.
