Post by gimpiegirl »

The Inn at Tamarind Court is always a great spot for one night.

St. John Inn is inexpensive too. Whatever you do, read the fine print. Some places charges a cleaning fee for stays less than three nights. We stayed at Coconut Coast for one night last year and with the cleaning fee it cost us mroe than a night at the least expensive room at Gallows Point. I understand why they do that, but it's something to consider.

Without a doubt. Estate Lindholm.

The place is gorgeous. Their Garden View Rooms are a base price (before room tax) of $170. We stayed in their Harbor View Room & LOVED it. I am sure that their Garden Views are just as nice - minus the view.

Great location near Cruz Bay & simple, but nice, continental breakfast thrown it.

If they have availability for your one night, I think that you would be very pleased.

If I were you, I would still give Estate Lindholm a call and/or send Lauren (the owner) a quick email.

You never know - your need for only one night might fit right between another booking. Nothing ventured - nothing gained. Of course, it doesn't hurt either to tell her how highly Estate Lindholm comes recommended by other forum members!

Sorry - I might have underestimated the cost per night. I just re-read that you said Early July.

Either way - Good Luck!

If you can't stay at Estate Lindholm, try Tamarind. They have a 3-night limit in season, but we were able to stay for only one night in July.

We've stayed at Tamarind 3 or 4 times for short stays. Get a room that faces the inner court, the rooms that face the bakery are noisy in the morning.
