Dependable Car Rental - Car Seat Question
I called Dependable on STT to get rates. I asked about car seats and they were very vague. They just noted that they had car seats, but wouldn't give me brand information. Has anyone used their car seats? Are they decent or should I make other arrangements? Your advice is appreciated! THANKS!
I understand your concern about car seats.
We used Dependable last week and had a geat experience with them. We brought our own car seats, but when they showed up to pick us up at the airport they had booster seats in the car for us. I'm not sure what brand they were but they seemed similar to ours. They were in used condition. We switched them with our once we got to their office.
Our rental car did have the latch-system.
My advice would be, if you're concerned about brands or condition of the seats, you're better off bringing your own. We packed our 4-year old's booster seat in our checked luggage and gate-checked the car seat for our 10 month old for each flight (she was an infant-in-arms and didn't have her own seat).
