Sea Biscuit
Sea Biscuit
Hi All --- this is our #1 contender for the impromptu trip in August. In love with the location right above Island Blues and Cocoloba. Does anyone have pictures or a recent trip experience?
Pia has been SO helpful filling me in on options! Now I am looking for a recent renter to finalize my decision.

I think it looks great, too. But on the sites that I find it listed, it says no children under 8.

Hey Flip! I just checked out Seabiscuit on Windspree's website. It looks like a really cool villa and it's priced so well! I think it's going on my list for the future!
I can't say whether or not August is a good time because I haven't been to STJ at that time of the year, but with trip insurance, I'd go for it!!

We stayed there July '06 and fell in love with the place. It was beautifully furnished and well cared for. The pool was also great and we really liked the location. Both bedrooms are upstairs and are air conditioned. The living room and kitchen were did not have a/c. The porch is GREAT and we had a lot of sugar birds to visit. The kitchen appliances were all stainless steel and there was plenty of cookware. We always bring the majority of our food and cook in the villa so I was pleased with the grill and cookware. We went my sister and her husband and felt that there was enough privacy for two couples. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Hey Flip Flop
I forgot to tell you that it is for sale (how could I have forgotten that
) but if a showing is asked for - and I have known renters to say no (dosen't help me
) - and should it be OK with you, they will give 24 hours notice and you are not expected to "stage" it like you would your own home in the States or even clean/tidy it up - everyone knows it is rented and the people staying are on vacation and we do not expect for anyone to change their daily plans/routine

Oh, and should you decide to put an offer in you know who to call

Wouldn't bother me in the least. . . for sale you say. How much is the asking price?Pia wrote:Hey Flip Flop

There was enough of a breeze that it was comfortable without the a/c but not to the point that it would blow you away. When we stayed there, no one was in Bay House so we really had the whole property to ourselves. I forgot to mention that there is also an outside shower downstairs under the porch that we liked. If we had another couple to share it with us we would stay there this summer. However, we are going by ourselves and are planning to stay at Stoneharbor since it is more affordable and is right below Sea Biscuit.
