Villa with pool, hot tub and sunset...

Post by jdw »

Last year in St. John our favorite time of day was watching the sunset from the hot tub each night. As I plan for our trip next year I am finding that a lot of villas do not have hot tubs. Can you recommend a great villa (two couples) that has a pool and hot tub and gets a sunset view?

Thanks.

j.

P. S. We also need AC.

We enjoyed our stay at Andante last June. Great for sunrises and sunsets.

Sunrise and sunset, from the hot tub, pool, anywhere. Spectacular.

Argonauta has a pool and hot tub, and excellent sunset views (plus full ac). The hot tub is out on a little point on the pool deck. The tub is definitely large enough for two couples to lounge in.

Even though a lot of the villas there get great sunsets, if your trip is in the next year or so, I would look in a different neighborhood than Chocolate Hole. The heavy work on Pond Bay started when we were there a couple of weeks ago and it is LOUD. I would imagine it will continue to be a problematic distraction at least until the exterior construction on the resort is done. Just my personal opinion...

I'll second the vote for Allesandra! Absolutely perfect villa from top to bottom!

Today is our first day back from Argonauta (so sad!). Argonauta is awesome - pool, hot tub and great sunset views. The full AC was nice although I think it spoiled the newbies in our group. We highly recommend Argo - we rented through Lisa at Vacation Vistas. Bongo Bongo is awesome too.
