Live TR ~ Day 3
Live TR ~ Day 3
Day 3 ~ Monday, April 21
This morning started just like every other with coffee on the verandah of Bongo Bongo. What a view! What a way to wake up
We soon had to kick it into full gear and get our stuff packed since today was our boating day. This would be my 2nd time out with Rev. Stu but the first for all the rest of our gang. I e-mailed him long before were got here and asked him to take us out. He rents the boat in STT and picks us up at the Natl' Park Dock. The day is ours to plan. Go here, go there, he doesn't care a bit. If anyone is looking for a day on the water without a formal tour (although he can give you that too) call Stu. You will not be disappointed. I love you Stu!!! (PM me for his number).
We arrived at the dock at 8:45am and the parking Gods were with us. We pulled into the lot at the dock to drop off our gear and someone pulled out. WOW!
At 9am sharp, Stu and his crew (Eric & Steve, awesome guys) pulled on in. We boarded and headed out. Our first stop was Great Thatch for some snorkeling. Stu gave the newbies some info on the way and then in the water we went. Since it was D & P first ever snorkel they were a bit nervous. P had a rough time of it and decided to go back but D found his nitch. We snorkeled for a bit and got some great views. The water was smooth as glass and the sun was blazing. We couldn't have asked for a better day.
We continued on past Sandy Spit and check in the BVI's on Tortola. We decided to head right on to JVD. The drinks were flowing (it was hot you know!) and we were having a damn good time. We arrived at Foxy's had a drink, did a little shoping, and the guys hung a koozie we brought from our Motorcycle Club back home.

Pattie was having fun with the monkey

Our next stop was White Bay. We arrived with our spirits alreay high and jumped into the water. Our final distination.....aaaahhhhh. Life is good
We ordered our bugers from Jewels and found a stool at One Love with Raquel. She is the bomb. She had our freaken drinks waiting and we didn't even order. We started with some bushwackers all around except for Dickie. He had the 7 Rum Surprise. This was 7 different flavored rums with a splash (and I do mean splash) of OJ for the surprise. After 3 of these D was in rare form. My hubby was right along with him. The only reason he didn't fall off the bar stool is because he was so relaxed that all his dead weight was centered on it correctly.
The day was perfect. We drank, laughed, relaxed, and laughed some more but atlast it was time to leave. We boareded once again and headed back to STJ. Dickie had us all laughing so bad on the way back that Stu said his face was starting to hurt. He wasn't alone
We did make one more stop at Lovango Cay to snorkel. Only the boys went in. NOTE: We did make them both wear life jackets and Rev. Stu, who was now Lifeguard Stu, went with them. They enjoyed their snorkel and were back in the boat safe and sound.
Within minutes we were back on STJ and saying our goodbye's to Stu, Steve, and Eric. It was sad
We took the drunk bastards (as we named the guys by now) back to the villa and poured them into a chair. We left them in search of a pizza. 1 Ronnie's Pizza later we were back to find them passed out cold. We woke them to eat and then put them to bed. Actually, we were so tired by now, we joined them.
What a freaken day

Day 3 finds “Bug & Crew” sailing off into the Sunrise towards the BVI’s. This was the direction mainly because there’s booze on those islands, one of the best beaches in the world (White Bay) is there and the main reason – the wind was blowing in that direction.
They land at Foxy’s to prime the “Booze Pump” in each of them. This is where Pattie finds her “Soul Mate” – but the poor little guy was a little stiff. But from the look on her face – it’s a good thing that the little guy was firmly anchored.
They then leave Foxy’s and head around the point to the world famous White Bay. Stu anchors the boat and Bug and crew check their livers with the captain as they leap into the water and head for the beach. Like nesting turtles – they scurry up the beach with arm and hands outstretched looking for the liquid gold.
Dickie finds his heavenly nectar in the form of a 7 Rum Surprise and proceeds to down 3 of them. At this point, Dickie doesn’t remember too much, but he knows he’s having fun.
The day finally comes to an end and Bug & Crew head back to Bongo Bongo. The girls now pour the “Drunk Bastards” aka “The Guys” into chairs and go off in search of food. No – it’s not Pig, Beef, Fish or Chicken they find, but that Italian delight called - Pizza. They manage to get it back to Bongo without all the cheese sliding to one side and find the “Drunk Bastards” passed out.
Stay tune for more antics of the now called group of – “Bug, Gals and Drunk Bastards”

So much fun to be had....so little time. I luv One Love. We had so much fun there on our last trip to Jost (I actually prefer it to SDB). Yum, I will definitely have to try that 7 rum surprise drink.
Just another perfect day in paradise....as our "representative" this week, you're doing the forum proud! Ali~
