Dohm's

Their website says 2006-2007 prices. Is it still $100.00 5 person minimum? If their are 4 of us, how much for Christopher's to Red Hook and then Dohm's to Cruz Bay. If our plane gets in at 3:10 should we extend the time and tell Christopher's 3:30? We've always taken ferry, so any help is appreciated!

We used them in '06, so I don't know what the new rates are, but we just told them when our flight was getting in and they figured out the time line. They even took care of notifying our villa rental reps when we'd be arriving at the park dock. We had a gang of fifteen, including some little ones, so it was well worth it.

We paid $20 per person in Feb/Mar 08 for nine people(which is the same rate as $100 for the first five) for Dohms and $15 per person for Christopher but I think (please double check me) that his minimum fee is $75.

So it would be $75 (again, please double check with Dohms, who will tell you the taxi rate) for the taxi plus another $100 for Dohms (your are paying for five even if you only have four) = $175

I would just give them your scheduled arrival time and not worry about it. In our experience, Christopher has kept an eye on the board and notified Dohm's if the schedule changed. Once we were early and Christopher was waiting, next year we were about an hour late and he told us he shifted his fares based on our ETA.
