Guess who I saw today???????
Today is Chip's birthday so we headed down to RI to hang out by the shore and have some clam cakes and enjoy the beautiful weather.
We are on our way home and we had just passed the Mohegan Sun when we see Kenny Chesney's tour bus pass us on the way to the casino (he is there tomorrow.) About 10 car lengths back is KC himself, baseball hat on backwards on a Harley, just cruising along.
I am wearing my new On-Stjohn T-shirt, maybe it has some sort of homing device

That's a funny story. I always feel a little weird when I see someone I only know from TV/movies, etc. in person.
What beach did you go to in RI? I lived in Westerly for a while as a kid...loved it. I remember driving by what is now the Foxwoods casino on the way to my grandparents, who lived in Pawcatuck CT...back then it was just a one-story building surrounded by lots of apple trees. The only game available was high stakes bingo!

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Happy Birthday to Chip! Coincidentally, today is my children's (twins) b-day too. I soooo wanted to be at one of those Kenny shows this weekend but with my kids turning 18, I didn't dare (trust
) to leave town. It was definitely a beautiful day here in CT. Add a KC sighting and a couple of b-days to that and well, it's just a beautiful thing! Hope everyone got to enjoy the day! I just called STJ to make some reservations for cinco de mayo and Billy says it's a beautiful night in STJ. So, all's good, Ali~

Based on this somewhat unimpressive response, the Harley makes a ton of sense.
