CLT to STT
Whoa! Just see that the fare has jumped $50.00 just recently. Guess my past tried and true wait til April to book a July flight might not happen. Anyone out there think the fares will drop? I'm debating on whether to book now or hold out a few more weeks???
Much as I hate to say it, I have heard nothing but the prices are going up due to fuel costs. I hesittae to say "Book now" but it would be a shame not to see you at the Beach bar in July!!
Good luck!
ps. I have my tickets already but I used FF miles.....

The liver is evil, it must be punished!

I would go ahead and buy now. Probably will not go lower unless they do a last minute sale... I am glad I bought mine in Feb. (which is early for me to buy tickets for June) and I paid $305RT inc. taxes. Glad I bought it then.
But, US Air was/is? having a sale and we are doing a last minute short trip this Wed. and I got a ticket for $360RT (last week) from MYR Beach. I live in Charleston but usually fly from CLT.
Good luck!!

I saw prices just start coming down over the past 3 or so weeks, we just bought tickets last weekend.
We paid $514/ticket for direct non-stop CLT to STT 6/21 to 6/28....both flights on Sturdays (not the cheapest days)...

Two weeks ago we booked for a family of five for August from Newark to STT for $278. Flight is non-stop on a Wednesday as well as for the return the next Wednesday.
Checked this am as some friends were interested but I don't see the flight anymore and the cheapest is now $375 with a lay over in PR.
Just plain luck I guess.

Booked flight last night from Myrtle Beach to STT at $425 each. One stop in Ft. Lauderdale via Spirit Airlines. I'm going to miss my Charlotte Nonstop on USAir but at $568 each, we'll bite the bullet and drive a little further and use the savings for fun on STJ. Has anyone traveled out of Myrtle Beach on Spirit? If so, any complaints?
I was going to suggest MB for you..we booked out of Columbia for Fl in Sept. instead of MB.. It was cheap.. 222.00 for both, round trip. We waited til they ran the 48.00 off special. I see it often with them and plan on watching MB for flights when go back to STJ. I think its def a good place to watch for deals...greyhoundmom wrote:Booked flight last night from Myrtle Beach to STT at $425 each. One stop in Ft. Lauderdale via Spirit Airlines.
