Just got back from dinner at the "Fish Trap". The help there is saying that both restaurants will re-open in June. The owners son Aaron is coming back to run them. I hope this happens.

Makes sense, I read they did about 150 covers a night... figure an average of $30-40 a cover, about $5000 a night, @ 6 nights a week, thats 120K plus gross a month, that's a good bit of business to walk away from.
Thank you for this great news!!! Anyone vacationing in St. John, please use the restaurants. Many of us don't like cooking all our meals at our villas. We enjoy going out to eat. Afterall, it's our vacation!
When we were in St. John last week every restaurant we went to in Cruz Bay was really crowded, at least during the evenings. People without reservations were either turned away or had a long wait. Admittedly, this was a popular spring break week.
According to the Willises, Aaron Willis is reopening the Fish Trap in June. NO information is yet available about the Stone Terrace. Come on readers, stop repeating rumors and half-truths!
liamsaunt,
would think since it was Aaron's idea to have the fish market that it would to reopen in June. Since the fish they get is the same fish they have at the fish trap.
There's no $ sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know
