I think his tour has about 10 US stops. Anyone going? May 3rd, Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa baby!!
It'll be our 1st time with EC.

I've seen him a couple of times. But, the best show was at the old Chicago Stadium (the Madhouse on Madison). At one point, he was playing along with Muddy Waters, Alvin Lee and Johnny Winter. Muddy had just married a 20 something and it was a sort of "congratulations on your marriage" show.

Hey guys,
Yep it should be a GREAT show and I'm sooo happy that it's an outdoor venue. The older I get the more I want the fresh air with big crowds. Dang, I AM getting old.
Anyway Pete that particular show @ the Madhouse musta been awesome!
I've seen alot of shows as well Eric but I do have a short list of have to see...including EC, Bowie, Rod Stewart and Aerosmith (imagine coming from MA I've never seen the boys from Boston
), Robert Plant & Jimmy Page together would be the best! I've seen Plant solo and it was awesome. I think the only one on my short list that has a slim to none chance is Bowie.
Hey Sherban, I'm sure this show will be a blast, thanks.

Marcia and I saw Aerosmith back when we were dating in HS. It was the "Toys in the Attic" tour. (1976) They played outdoors at the old Comisky Park in Chicago. It was a blistering hot day and the tar roof that surrounded the stadium caught fire. Didn't matter...the show went on.

She said "But do you think they would be good without Freddie Mercury?"
