St. John Villas ON the Water

Post by Doug6105 »

I thought it would be nice to see a list in one spot of villas that are on the water. I know it may be a short list but let's see what we can come up with. Ive got two to start out with.

>Calypso by the Sea
>Carnival Beach House

Any others? How about "across the road" type places ?
So many islands . . . . .

Caribbean Villas website has a list of all beachfront villas that they rent. There are about a dozen:

Sanctuary is about 40' above, on Rendevous Bay, at the end of the road.

Gibney Beach Cottages.

Do the ones by the Westin count? The ones not really on the beach, but waterfront, like Splash, Gull Cottage, Beach Estate, etc?

Spindrift

Forts Cove

Coral Cove

Belle Mer
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Seascape
Villa Mollo (this is the only villa I've ever seen that says "smokers welcome". Not appealing to me but maybe to some others.)
The Retreat (listed as "waterfront" but sounds like lots of stairs)

PS - the one I stay at in my dreams is Peter Bay Beach House (on the CV list posted above.) But for some reason we just didn't go for the $30,000/week price tag for our New Years trip. I would love to hear what it's like from anyone who has stayed there.

St John Villas ON the water

There is a nice little villa on the East End (just beyond Sloop Jones)
called Cameron Cove. You can walk from the house right to
a pebble beach with *great* snorkling. We stayed there last year.
It is remote, but a nice change of pace. I have never seen so many
stars!
