A quick top 10 list as I get back to work today after my first seven days in St John.

Good
1. Beach Bar
2. High Tide
3. The rental power boats next door. (Best Day)
4. BVI on the boat (homerun)
5. Dinner @ Zo Zo's
6. Meeting Daniel at a local watering hole
7. Woody's
8. All the beaches
9. Skinny Legs on our last day.
10. Strong, cheap drinks

No so good (but could deal because of the good)
1. Cab & Ferry coming and going
2. Parking (That said the pay lot downtown is cheap)
3. Bathrooms in the bars
4. The people below our house that yelled at us on the first night for talking outside at 11:00 pm. We didn't even know there was a house there.
5. ROOSTERS!
6. ATM machines
7. Places that do not take credit cards when I am out of cash because the ATM does not work.
8. 10am check out of the house
9. Bugs
10. Coming home

There is a lot more good but I got to get back to the biggest bad....WORK.

I agree about the roosters. last trip we had one that crowed all times of the day!!!! i guess he was confused

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I love the roosters! For me they're part of the whole experience of waking up with the sun, sitting on the deck, and watching the island come alive.

I flew home last night after 12 days on island. Since it looks like both of us enjoy the watering holes of St. John, I'm sure we passed each other along the way

I'll work on my trip report this weekend. Just a heads up, neither my hubby or I take pictures - I only store them in my mind so it will dissapoint those that do such a great job with theirs.
