Hi - we are staying in coral bay and probably won't eat anywhere else. Also how about the grocery stores in Coral Bay - love's and Lily's I think?

We stayed in Coral Bay and used credit cards pretty much everywhere that I can recall: Skinny's, Shipwreck Landing, Miss Lucy's, Aqua Bistro, Lilly's Market, Love Shack Mini Mart... (Never made it to Donkey Diner, and we paid cash at Vie's but that's further out on the east end.) The gas station in Coral Bay that we went to, which was on 107 south of Centerline, and my daughter just reminded me is called Domino, took cash only.
I tend to use cash for everything except for big dinners. I know some people love to collect their miles on every purchase. But, merchants pay 2-4% transaction fees and that adds up to a lot for most businesses.
Donkey Diner does only accept cash, as does Ms Vies. Not sure about Island Blues. Everything else, including the grocery market, accepts most credit cards including AmEx.
The gas station in Coral Bay is cash only but the one in Cruz Bay accepts credit cards, as I recall.
The EC gas station in Cruz Bay definitely takes credit cards,which I found helpful given the prices everywhere now. It's a small island, so one tank tends to carry a bit, depending on how much traveling around you do.
