Olympus 790
Well, as I mentioned, I decided we needed a new camera, so I purchased the Olympus 790, I had noticed
that many of you on the forum use this camera.
So my ??? is do you's use the floating strap while snorkeling & what about the silicone cover??? The strap I think is a given, wouldn't want Larry to lose it while snorkeling.
Any other pointers for using it??? I am not a techis person & already has some wierd meter thingy on the screen

Definitely use the floating strap. Worthwhile ins. policy against it sinking to the bottom.
I second the underwater settings. The macro underwater setting is really good for less than about 5' away.
Not underwater related, but use the candle light mode for taking night shots. I used it at Christmas time to take some pictures of lights and it was the perfect mode. Fast shutter speed and virtually no motion blur.
