Need feedback on Sapphire Beach Condos
Need feedback on Sapphire Beach Condos
Staying at Sapphire this summer and have read mixed reviews. We are staying at a privately owned condo, beachfront and seems to be a good deal.
Any bad experiences with rodents and bugs??

Not all are created equal. You might want to get the unit number then search reviews and posts or post on Trip Advisor or ViNow to see if anyone can give you some insight - lots of folks on those two forums are knowledgeable about the various units at the Sapphire condo developments (Sapphire Resort & Marina and Sapphire Village) and about Crystal Cove (lots of folks call the Crystal Cove units Sapphire condos as they are on the same beach). Beautiful beach, though, whatever units you stay in and the snorkeling is quite good there. My husband came face to face with his first Moray there. Being Italian, he said "WOW - that's A-Moray" (couldn't resist)

We stayed there back in 2006. The condo we had was on the bottom floor and the last unit on the end. It was great to open up the sliding glass doors and step into the sand. Our unit was clean and well equipped. The only complaint was that that previous guest smoked in the unit and you could smell the smoke. But being on the end unit – we had windows on 3 sides of us. So we just opened all the doors and windows for a few hours and aired the place out. While the place was airing out – we sat on the patio with rum drinks in hand and island music blaring. The beach is nice – go early to get a lounge chair. The pool was OK – I didn’t like swimming with the seagulls and ducks. But I have to admit – it was pretty funny standing in the pool with a drink and this duck comes in for a water landing right in front of you.
