Underwater webcam

Post by Maggy »

For those of you that loves to watch fish, here is a link to a really interesting underwater webcamera in Bonaire. Change to 2 sec interval and it's almost like being live 15 meters (50 ft) underwater.

I have seen all kinds of fishes (all from Tarpon to Angels) and sometimes divers shows up. It's pretty cool.

Here is the link: http://www.breathebonaire.com/

Ultra cool, Linne! It's dark there right now, so I looked through the last 24 hours history. I see I'm going to have to check back when it's daytime! :D Beautiful!

California Girl - I am not Linne, I'm Maggy

I guess Sweden or Denmark might be similar and we are in fact neighbours but different countries

But check it out during daytime. It's very cool when the pic updates every 2 sec, it almost feels like live.

Hello Maggy!

Nice to see that you are posting again. Haven't seen you for a while.

I admit that I in a way have imitated your avatar, but I thought that the colours were so different that
no one would make mistakes. Now you can see both of them California Girl - and compare!

No problem at all!

Yes, I know I have been absent for a while, but now I am here again

I have been to Mexico and Thailand, but in April we are going back to Virgin Gorda. But when I see all the photos from STJ, I miss it too. We had some rain last year on our STJ trip, so it would be nice to go back again. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

And Linne - I'm coming down to you next week (meetings in Copenhagen). Or at least to Denmark

Maggy! It could be so funny to meet you, but Copenhagen is a little to far away from here. But if you one day should be near my town, perhaps for playing golf, give me a message, and we can meet. I'm not a golfer, but the golf course is in the same area, where we live, and I would enjoy drinking a painkiller or two (or more) together with you, while talking about the places we have been, especially STJ. But also Thailand which is a fantastic land, and Mexico, which I would like to visit.

I have looked on the webcam but it's dark now. I will try again.

California Girl, isn't it nice that we can tease each other in this forum?

They should put a light down so we can see it at night!

Sea-Nile - a light, that would be something!! But I'm not sure if that will work. I have never been diving during night, so I'm not sure how far a light will let you see things. I don't really know how the fish will react to a very strong light etiher.

The thought of night diving kind of scares me, but it's supposed to be fantastic.

Linne, thanks. I would very much like to meet you too. I'll promise to let you know if we pass your hometown or near surroundings.

My business trips are always to Copenhagen though.

The webcam sometimes is down but that doesn't happen too often.

I have seen the camera now in light. Would like to snorkel in this place- or better have a dive. Fantastic!
