Cottage of Open Arms???

Post by CruzBayB »

Anyone familiar with Cottage of Open Arms in Coral Bay? The price seems amazing... I'm still looking for that affordable honeymoon in St John for June and this caught my eye. I haven't stayed on that side of the island so i am unfamiliar with the safety of the area of this particular cottage, etc.

I'm not familiar with this villa, but it sure looks romantic and has wonderul views. The pool in the main villa looks great. I'd ask if that is something you could use if you are just renting the cottage. Either way, it's a great looking "love nest" for the $$. If you end up staying there, post a report. I might take my "old man" there some day when we can travel without kids again.

Looks lovely, ... but... if you could swing the extra $$$ why not go for the Villa? A Murphy bed for a
Honeymoon has slapstick comedy written all over it.

oops, well yes, actually they were looking at the villa but the link she sent was on the cottage page so i didn't even look further. My concern is first timers on the other side of the island when I've always centered my trip on the north shore beaches and Cruz Bay restaurants. Am I worrying about nothing?

We're 1st timers and staying in Coral Bay at Sago Cottage
(www.calabashcottages.com)...I think being on the quiet side will be great...if you go for Open Arms, spend the extra and get the villa! Check out Sago Cottage too.
