Road to Villa
Here's a link to a video our friends took of the road to our villa. Doesn't really do justice to the hills, or the final last turn, but if you've been to
STJ you know how the roads are!
(Please ignore the part at about 2:30 where we find out that their son didn't wear his seatbelt, and don't call child services on us!)

Hi Tracy,
Starlit Escape is in the Coral Bay area. (South on 107, turn by the gas station and the Love Shack... oops I mean the Love City Mini Mart. Then comes a turn onto the first dirt road.)
We loved the location -- we liked being a short drive to some of the south side beaches and to Coral Bay restaurants etc. The road in didn't seem so bad after the first time in. But the last turn was tricky! Our friends' first time to the villa was in a cab. They missed the last turn and had to back down the hill. That was an adventure!

Lulu: The owner told us that there are plans to pave the road. It had been graded for paving at one time, but then they got a big rain and subsequent traffic on it pretty much undid the grading. Depending on when your trip is, it might be worth emailing the owner to see if/when paving will take place. Feel free to PM if you have any q's about the house!

Coden: In the video, where they make the first turn left, if you go right I think there are some villas up there, but I can't remember which ones. The places we passed all looked like residences rather than vacation/rental homes.
Petepie: I remember watching that video and was also wondering what villa it is. Someone posted the link on the forum awhile ago, but I couldn't find the reference.

I think it may be the road to Villa Ventosa....not sure though.
"I have taken guests to Villa Ventosa - absoloutley spectacular in every way (imho) It is up the road from he** (some peoples opinion) and that is the road featured on UTube - you will need 4wd and the location is in Coral Bay up the road opposite Johnsons Bay (between Shipwreck and Miss Lucy's)

Hope this helps....mia

It takes both the sun and the rain to make a beautiful rainbow. --Unknown
