St. John article in Islands Magazine
St. John article in Islands Magazine
Anyone see this article yet? (In the Feburary issue.)
I was just wondering what you thought?
I enjoyed reading it, but then again someone could do an article about toilets on St. John and I'd read it and probably enjoy it.
It seemed to have that "romantic" tone that St. John brings out in many of us, but there were some confusing (incorrect?)parts. For instance, mentioning a drive from the East End, Coral Bay and Salt Pond but then sticking Hawksnest in there-- oops. I enjoyed the author's effort to get to know locals, though- I think a lot of writers that do pieces like this glaze over the part where your vacation might be someone else's life-long home.
Anyway, just wanted to bring it up. I'm a week from single digits on the countdown so this is probably just my excitement overflowing.
