Bears suck, but the Pack can't beat 'em

Post by Pete (Mr. Marcia) »

Too funny. Kyle Orton, he of the gravity defying neck-beard, actually had a better game than Fahvray. Yes, my Bears stink. But, Packer fans, why is it that your team just can't figure out a way to beat them?

Tracy...count to ten before hitting submit.

Ugly? It was a freakin' thing of beauty! I'm still sitting here in my lucky Butkus #51 jersey in a state of shock and euphoria. (Yes, I'm a middle-aged loser.)

I will be there on Saturday to watch the Giants ruin the Pats' perfect season.

This still won't affect your chances of having a SB party though.

You'll be the only one seeing it, as the rest of us, the rest of us who don't get the NFL network, the rest of us who number in the millions, the rest of us who invested thousands of dollars in HD technology and hundreds more dollars in monthly cable fees, simply can't get that station. Perhaps I can tune it in on my transistor radio, if it's a clear night and I sit atop the roof of my house.

I know, the league should just get rid of that NFL Network.

Pete, I was at the Giants vs Bears game last year as I sat in the cold, freezing rain and watched the Giants lose. Remember that game where the Bears took a missed FG and ran it all the way for a TD?? Horrendous game for us.

Dear Pete - Despite the horrible loss to your horrible team, I would still like to invite you over on Saturday to enjoy the NFL network at my humble abode. All you need to do is bring some Cruzan Rum and wear a Number 4 jersey - a Green and Gold one.....

It is my fault.
Whenever I watch the Packers, they lose. (I haven't watched too many games this year as you can tell).

Gosh, that's a tempting offer...on some levels. Let's see...you do have a nice house, I like you and Juice and I definitely would love to see the games on NFL Network that Charter won't let me see. But, I'm afraid the price is too high. I just don't look good in green and gold...actually, nobody does.

Thanks for the swell offer, though.

Hi Pete,

You're welcome to come East - don't have to worry about NFL Network in my neighborhood on Saturday as the game will be shown on a local channel.

No need for Green and Gold here either; but some nice Blue and White adorned by a big #12 would be good. Oh and of course the Cruzan

Ditto what Liamsaunt said!

Pete -

I think I found something in Green and Gold that you might like to see Marcia in - don't you dare say she wouldn't look good in those colors......

Do you have any idea how wrong that is? Think like a guy for just a moment. Things are going smoothly, the wife is in the mood...life is good...or so you think. Then, you arrive at the "promised land" only to encounter...A FREAKIN' PACKER THONG!!! The only thing that could be worse is if it was autographed by Brett Favre...or even worse, Mark Chamura.

Serious buzz kill...raging soft-on.
