Instead of Christmas shopping - I started trip shopping!
No Christmas gift for the adults in our family, our annual St. John trip is our gift to each other but that hasn't stopped me from buying "trip gifts" today.
I ordered -
A new (larger) boat and tote bag for beach gear
2 Polarbear coolers with "ice" (maybe I should have ordered the real Techiice, oh well) Large one for the checked food/daily beach and smallest for son's plane food.
Totally hokey khaki shorts covered in little palm trees for the boy.
Will be ordering -
A new digital camera. I want a waterproof/shock proof camera. My Canon S1SI is too big and fragile for travelling with a toddler.
Smaller binoculars
Books - Keep Left, My Beloved Virgin
Ipod - maybe
Booze - I put the word out to the travelling friends that we need to get the Mixology order done in January
So instead of working on my year-end numbers, I am trip planning. Soon I will be drinking at the business neighbors Christmas party. Is it 4pm yet?
