What is that huge complex to the left of lavender hill?

Post by Iluvstjohn »

My husband and I were just daydreaming about our trip in 7 days.....and I was looking at a trip report posted by someone with some fabulous pics......and one of them shows cruz bay with this huge complex to the left of lavender hill (facing it).

We haven't been back to St. john in 3 years...so this is new to us!
Thanks
Holly

I think its Grande Bay. A resort/condo thing. That's the one above Lavender Hill.

The other eyesore is Sirenusa, but its not above Lavender hill.

It is probably the Grande Bay condos. I believe construction started in 2003.

Have a great trip,

I have some pictures of the Grande Bay project over the years on my "old" newsletters page. I was going to try to organize this and just post the annual photos here, but I've been really busy. (Organizing the new zipline adventure tours onto the back of the departing ferries.)
Here is the link to the old newsletters. The photos go back to October 2003, I think.

P.S. Don't call me about the tours, it's just a joke!
