I don't think I'd call this very much of a controversy. It is true the Stevenson-Norman Island tale is a legend, but it's certainly a credible one. There are lots of folks who've heard and told it before you started telling it, so it's not like you just dreamed it up. Plus, who cares??? It's a great story.

And, I can't get too excited about throwing a few breadcrumbs to the fish. I assume you weren't throwing chum in the water to attract sharks, so I'm missing the point there, as well. And, I agree with Bart about everything except the Eagles, which I know nothing about.
