Wireless internet available?

Post by Iluvstjohn »

Hey there fellow st john lovers! We've been to the island several time...but not for a couple of years...and 2 kids later! We are planning a family getaway trip in December...and we were wondering if any places on the island have wireless yet? maybe, maybe not? We are staying at Cinnamon bay and "roughing it" with our 2 little ones......

Warfside itself is a hotsopt. not sure about the fee, but i'd imagine it's 10 bucks a day at least.

Try Donkey Diner in Coral Bay. Good breakfast and pizza twice a week plus internet. Thay ask for a "contribution" if you are not a local but if you are eating there it's not such a big thing and is on the honor system anyway...

Being the uber nerd that I can be here is a completely uncomprehensive list but it should get you going....

Wharfside Village has a few free hotspots.

The mini golf place, I'm totally blanking on the name, has a free hotspot. I installed it for them so it should work very well.

Mongoose Junction I'm 99% sure still has a free wifi hotspot.

Gallows Point has a good one, which I have been able to pick up decent signal from the ferry dock. Good ole hacked bios signal booster. Thank you Lynksys for not knowing what you were doing in your early version of WiFi routers.
