Testing out an Off Topic forum -

Post by Anthony »

Okay - I think it won't hurt to try this. I made a new forum for Off Topic posts. I think with the amount of members and friends here it was about time. I am going to ask you all to give it a try - basically the rule should be if it doesn't involve Virgin Islands travel (and related things), it should go over in the Off Topic forum.

I think it will be a great place to share info about other destinations - and anything else you want to talk about (your family, jobs, interests, etc.).

Remember - you can see all the forums from the main page:

<a href="http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/f ... um/

A quick stop there will let you know if there is new stuff, etc. in any of the forums.

Let's give it a try -

Thanks,

I have no problem with the OT forum but is there a way that we can navigate from one forum to the other without going back out to the index? It would be nice to have links for the other forums on the main page of each forum.
I honestly think that I would forget about the OT forum (as I do with the relocation) unless I can see that it is there.

Good point - I will work on that.

I agree with Xislandgirl. A quick link on each forum's main page would make it super easy to navigate between the two forums.

Hi,

You don't have to go back to the index, just go down to the "jump to" button.

"Forumvision" strikes again. I didn't see it either.

I understand your doing this Anthony, my only problem initially will be remembering that I have to check both now  .

Anthony,

If we forget and start an OT thread here, will you move it with a pointer?

this is a good idea and I'm sure we'll get used to checking both - we got used to the new forum pretty quick.

Anthony,
I agree with jayseadee. I think we can handle it. We're all very adaptable here and, of course, very intelligent.

Anthony - I'm liking the new OT forum :D I find navigation between the VI and the OT forum really easy using either the "Index" link at the top or the "Jump To" link at the bottom of the page.
