temperature at night

Post by naturegirl »

For all of you that just got back and all of you that live on St John, what is the temperature at night? Will I need a little sweater while eating outside or inside in air conditioning?

I tend to be cold, but never needed the light sweater that I brought. Don't recall many restaurants with a/c running high (if any).

Evening temps were typically in the 70's (this time of year).

Certainly wouldn't hurt to bring one along - just in case.

I tend to be cold but I've never once been cold in STJ.

A couple years ago the power went out in the middle of the night so our a/c went out and I was so hot that I couldn't sleep.

You might want a sweater for the plane ride, but that'd be it.

Tonight’s weather will be dark with scattered light in the morning and more light in the afternoon. Temperature at the airport is – who cares, who lives at the airport. There’s a low pressure area on the north side of the island and a low pressure area on the south side of the island – what this island needs is a great big HIGH.

George Carlin – Sort of from his Hippy Dippy Weatherman skit

Just having some fun – hope it made you smile.

I think I pretty much wore tank tops the whole time. I don't think I was ever cold either.

That being said, I'd have liked to have had a long-sleeved (but light) white shirt for after I got sunburned.

Lulu- I am definately planning on that. I am very fair skinned and burn easily. I have a very light cotton coverup dress with hood as well.

I can't believe you have been back so long already LuLu- it seems like yesterday that you arrived in St John. It goes quick doesn't it?

In some ways, it seems like yesterday. In other ways, it seems like an eternity.

It looks like I'm going back almost exactly a year from now, and that feels like 10 million years.
