Did anyone else see this Cuban Immigrant Story??

Hubby just spotted this and sent it to me... don't know how I missed it.
I know this is a heated issue for many but you have to admire the sheer will of this guy to get out of Cuba.
It always reminds me not to take my life here for granted!

*Another fine scatterbrained production
I'm pretty torn on the Cuba issue myself, but the sheer will of this guy is something else.
Maybe someday all of the Cubans in Miami will be reunited with their families who haven't made it.
The guy was pretty smart, though. Even though it'd be a shorter trip from Cuba to Miami, it's a lot harder to get there without getting caught. I never would've thought of going down to STJ and flying to Cuba.
I learn something new here everyday.

My colorist who does my hair here in S. FL is from Cuba. She has been trying to get her mom here for a visit for the last 6 months. After hearing what the govt in Cuba puts them all thru, I think anyone lucky who can get out of Cuba.
I was glad to hear that the guy they found on STJ was reunited with his dad in Miami.
