We'll be there right before you!
Our walk of woe will be your walk of JOY!

We will try to not wreck the place for you!

Are you packed yet? I have started a list but if I pack now, I KNOW that I will bring way too much!

P.S. How many flip-flops do you bring? I am going to try and limit it to 2-3.

The packing is underway. Swimsuits, check. Sunscreen, check. Bugspray, check. We have still had some lingering hot weather (last Sat/Sun were in the 90s), but it seems to be finished. Now the real packing can begin. I am going LIGHT. I promise.

OH, and at least 3 pairs ... maybe 4. I will not compromise & my tidewaters are extremely lightweight.

Six weeks here. (But I don't want to count down the days -- it all goes by too fast, anyway.)

34 days for us. Haven't started packing yet, but we have put a laundry basket in the closet to put things in for the trip as we think about them.

We'll be staying at the Cinnamon Bay Cabin's so packing light will be tough. Flashlights, radio, beach towels, coffee pot, etc. Not to mention the mask.snorkel, fins, and shoes for the fins. Good thing we'll be at such an awesome location or Idon't think I would have agreed to this camping thing.

countdown - packing

Post by lovestj »

I just wanted to see my ticker.....Less than two weeks. :D

I sent a box down already - so packing should be light. Bringing a toddler is really adding more than I expected. I am thinking that I might just give up and buy it all there.

Getting there too :)

Packing starts 2 weeks ahead of time with 3 pairs of flip flops. One black, one brown and one white, should cover everything. I bring my most comfortable with me.

Ordered a bathing suit, brought up all my summer clothes from the shore.

Can't wait!

Wow, that might be worse than my last destination, Texarkana. No offense, but ugh.

Now, only Denver stands between me & St. John. I can handle Denver :)

I hear ya! Had to do it for my God daughter's confirmation. Our flight home this morning was at 7, have been up since 4. that's ok if you are going on VACATION but geez.
We do have Boston (Bruce) right before Thanksgiving so we are basically on vacation starting (11/16).
