Pond Bay Club noise heard from Maria Bluff?

Post by Teresa_Rae »

On our next trip construction at Pond Bay Club should be in full swing. Do you think we'd be able to hear construction noise from across the water at Maria Bluff?

Thanks in advance :)

It all depends on what kind of construction they are doing at that time. It may not be that bad if they aren't having to pound their way thru rock like they did in Cruz Bay at the other new developement. When they were pounding into the rockbed I could hear it as far as the northshore. So, there was no way to get away from the rock pounding unless you went all the way to Coral Bay. Some may not have experienced what we did at that time. But, we still had a great time and we even stayed across the bay at Lindholm for a while and the pounding didn't really bother me since it was off in a distance. They only work during the day maybe 8 hours. Early mornings and evenings were quite.

When we were there this past June and they were clearing trees at Pond Bay Club.

I'm thinking that they'll be in full jack-hammer mode in June of 2008.

Looking at the land I don't think you will have to worry about to much jack hammering maybe concrete trucks but i don't think maria bluff will be to much of a problem
