hi, been reading about bush medicine or bush tea? where can i get some of this or the ingredients? i know you can get it on island but from who.

I'd start off tracking down Victor Hall at the Domino station in Coral Bay. Victor got quite involved in local plants and their use. The guys at Fire Foods also seem to have some knowledge of local plants. Trinidad Charlie also might be able to point you in the right direction.

They almost always have Bush Tea at the airport cafeteria. I noticed it a few years ago & being someone that's always up for new experiences, I tried it and really liked it! I usually get one while waiting for my flight.

wow thanks everyone for all the info. :wink: i do know of victor at dominoes gas station and trinidad charleys. looked up charleys and he doesnt offer any info on how to make the tea at home. trying to find alternative medicine for a really sick friend and thought this might help. i quess i need to be on island to get this bush tea which i really would not mind being right now. :) :) thanks again!!!

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Trader Joe's sells South African bush tea (it's organic too :) )
