License plate....yippee, boo-hoo!!

Post by Coden »

Got mine!! Thanks Anthony for being so quick!! :)

But, big bad problem...it doesn't fit my car. My screw holes are on the bottom of my license plate and I have no place to put screw holes on the top, w/o putting holes in my car and I can't do that.

If anyone wants to buy it, like we all haven't already bought Anthony out and I doubt if there is anyone left to buy it, but I'll sell it to you for the same price and pay to mail it to you here in the continental USA. Just a thought, but I hate for it to sit around. :(

Thnx!!

Coden - maybe the solution is just to buy a new car that will hold it

I have pewter frames from my college alma mater on my car, or I'd take it off your hands.

Maybe you could be creative and make it a "frame" for one of your favorite STJ vacation pictures.

Coden,
What kind of car do you have?
My family thinks I should get a new license plate that says sea-nile and get that license plate frame.
I haven't purchased one yet. I wonder if it would fit a Grand Prix.

That is a great idea, nothintolose...just can't do it right now while son is still in college. Ugh!!

Good idea, flip-flop, and I thought about that.

sea-nile - my car is a Pontiac. Same as a Grand Prix, right? Look and see if your license plate screws are on the top or the bottom. Mine are on the bottom and I can't bore a hole in the top - too much space in-between...bummer!!

You can always return it if you want - just let me know. Sorry it doesn't work on your car. I went with the top holes only so the letters on the bottom didn't get messed up.

Gosh, Anthony that is swell of you to say that. But hopefully someone here will be able to use it. If not, I will try to do something with it. Flip-flops idea of a picture frame is a good one...we'll see what happens. Again, thanks for the chance to return it and if I need to I will let you know. :)

Coden,
Just went down to the garage to check my car. It has top screws and I could use the frame. PM me with your address and I'll send you a check for whatever amount that you want. When you get the check you can mail them to me.

Wow! I think the picture frame idea is awesome! You could even saw off some bolt heads and glue them on so it looks real authentic! I think I need to order another one, now! Funny, but I looked all over STT & STJ for the perfect picture frame for a good vacation shot and could't find one. This is the solution I was looking for! Thanks for your creativity flip-flop! :D

Maybe we should start a bidding war for it! I fully understand that you could not resist that, Anthony. I just did not want Coden to feel that she had to pay for the postage. :)
