We have used it all over the Caribbean with wonderful success, and at the same time saving tons of money. Sometimes we have had to search for wireless. For example, a picnic table outside a dive shop/office on Bonaire served very well. Many coffee shops have wireless (Vieques and Culebra). This last May we had it at our very inexpensive room on Tortola, and on Virgin Gorda, we had to take the computer close to the resort's office. When we are at Caneel in August, we will just have to take the computer near to the office/bar area. When we are not using it in our room, we just try to find a quiet corner as not to disturb other people.

Good luck. SRT

There are (currently) free WiFi hot spots in Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. I talked to a guy in May who was able to hit an access point from JJ's in Cruz Bay. The Tap Room at Mongoose Junction has free WiFi. There was a node in Aqua Bistro at Coral Bay.

My Cingular/ATT phone works great on STJ.

Cheers, RickG
