once in a blue moon

Post by JT »

It's the last minutes of the 2nd full moon this month. I wish I'd been on island for both of them!

Damn! When I hit "submit" it was July, by a few seconds. We had a great night of total decadence here. We smoked dry rubbed Boston Butts with hickory, and had homemade coleslaw, skewered marinaded peppers, onions, etc, and black-eyed pea salad, steamed, spiced crabs caught this morning from the bay, fresh zucchini from the garden, cherry pie and ice creme and so many beers that we know that we must be rednecks because the recycle buckets,[note plural on "buckets"], are over filled and they just picked up on Wednesday. If you can't be on the place you love, Honey, then love the place you're with! Happy July to all of you and "Rabbit Rabbit"

We had dinner at the Blue Moom Cafe at Secret Harbour, STT, last night. They had a special Blue Moon BBQ with a free Blue Moon beer with your meal. A great way to celebrate the blue moon.
