Any great villa suggestions in Coral Bay for next May?

Post by susan & herb »

We have stayed at Le Virage 2 years, and our first year was Villa Maria.
Thinking about Coral Bay for next year. Am looking for great unabstructed views a/c bedrooms, pool for 2 couples. Anyone have any good recs?

We stayed at Great Turtle Villa in Coral Bay this past February. I found it to be a lovely villa. It is quite new and very well cared for by the owners. Here is the link:

We lovvvveeeddd One Particulour Harbour - high above Coral Bay - sweeping views - actually some of the best views I have EVER seen - a/c in bedrooms. Lovely private pool. Let me know if you have any questions!

mb beat me to the punch. I was also going to recommend Reef Madness. Sounds ideal for you and I believe there will be A/C throughout if i'm not mistaken.

I need come across Reef Madness which looks great, but to be honest, the furniture selections really turned me off. I love antiques and have lots of oak and mahogany furniture in my house, but I just felt the furniture was very "gothic" looking. Just my opinion, but I must say the house itself looked fantastic.

Interesting. I never even looked at the furniture. I must have stopped at the coffee grinder ;)

I have looked at Coral Rays from DSJ several times. A little big for only two couples maybe but reasonable!

S&H... Inside decor in RM is actually African, but I suppose it could be considered African Gothic... We haven't unveiled the giraffe yet...

Randy, I just knew we were kindrid spirits! A favorite thing of mine is a tall, gorgeous hand carved Giraffe that was carved out of Moukwa (I think that's it) from a tribe in Zimbabwe. I adore African art! Your villa sounds like it's going to be beautiful! I can't wait to see it upon completion!

Gee Randy, sorry if you thought my comments about the furniture choices were rude. That was not my intention. Your house looks fantastic. We just like the island ie, wicker and white look when we go to the islands.

I've never stayed at Mayan Sky, but it is on the top of my list for Coral Bay. Fully air-conditioned, pool, three bedrooms (one more than you need). It's on VIVA Vacation's site. Happy villa hunting!
