Airline Bumping Practices

I just checked out http://www.on-stjohn.com/ and found the site posted a link to a NY Times article about airlines bumping passengers. And it is a candid inside look into US Air. Interesting read, but airlines still do not have an excuse in my opinion, I do understand it more however. The Times link is not active long, so don't wait to read it, they said. I use US Air to get to STJ most of the time, have not had trouble. Knock on wood.
