Hey flip-flop: Fitflops

Post by mia »

flip-flop,
Couldn't help but think of you when I saw this article....a new type of flip-flop. :) They're also available on this side of the Atlantic, but I guess they are all but impossible to find in stock...both online and in stores....mia

Very cute. I just saw these in the Landsend Catalog this morning. Not exactly the same benefits but cute.

Of course I thought wow those would be nice for hiking on STJ. Then I remembered, I don't hike!

The Fitflop looks very interesting. Also interesting is to read all the feedback from people at the end of the article.

Flip-flop: I LOVE those shoes!! Hike or not, I think you need them. I think I need them! Thanks for the link!

Interesting piece on the fitflops and also Mia's response. Went online to the Bath and Body Works site and all the fitflops had been sold out online. There are a few stores that might and might not have them and many are located in VA. Nothing here in CT. Would love to have a pair. Just might order the ones from Lands End. I take a 1/2 size, did anyone order and if so did you order up a size?

The Land's End ones, while cute, don't proclaim to be what the FitFlop is all about---toning your legs, etc., while you walk in them.

The FitFlop is similar to the MBT sneakers, which are pretty ugly but which do make my back feel better when my herniated disc flares up.

Bliss Catalog is selling the FitFlops as of July, taking orders now....

Had to post this link. I saw these a while back when I was looking for something good for my feet. Kinda funky.

I like earth shoes too. Good if you walk put a lot of pressure on your heels. A little getting used to at first.
When will I see St John again?

If Fit-Flops will help tone my J-Lo thighs and booty, I'm sold! Plus they're cute too!

Mrsb - I thought of those shoes when I saw Mia's post! They sell them here where I got my Keens and they look so funny.

One of my clients wears these and swears by them: http://www.zcoil.com/index.html - actually she and her husband both do.

Thanks for the link. I walk 3-5 miles per day and mostly on asphault. My dogs are barkin all the time. Anyhting to alleviate the stress on my feet would be a Godsend. I would have to drive to Jersey to get them but that's ok. Now, if only I could find a masseuse that will spend time on my feet and legs like I ask them to.

Found the fitflops at Bath and Body Works in the Westfarms Mall in CT. They told me that only 100 stores were asked to carry them. They had a reasonably good stock.
Yes, CT is the Nutmeg State and is also known as the Constitution State.
I would not know many of the nicknames for the states so don't feel badly. Maybe we should ask all those from the different states to tell us what their nickname is.
