Looking for two 4-bedroom villas adjacent to one another?
Hello all, I am looking for two 4-bedroom villas near each other.
Anybody have any ideas?
They don't have to be next door, but close would be nice. We are budget conscious but are still working out those details (this is for my sister's wedding).
We'd prefer the Cruz Bay side...as far out as Ajax/Mamey Peak would be fine, but we'd prefer to not be all the way out in Coral Bay for this trip.
We'd like a pool at each house and it will be the hottest part of the year, so a/c in at least the bedrooms.
One of the houses needs to have at least two bedrooms attached to the main house because of small children.
Thanks in advance!

Vida de Mar and Sunset Beach are next to each other on Devers Bay. Vida de Mar is actually five bedrooms. Sunset Beach has four. They both have AC in bedrooms (VDR is full AC not sure about Sunset Beach), pools, and beach access. I have rented Vida de Mar and it is a great house for groups. The pool is awesome. The only thing I disliked about it when we stayed is that it lacked a fully shaded outdoor area, but that has since been fixed/upgraded.
Splash and Gull Cottage or Tennis Villa plus Cottage are always the first pairings that come to my mind but both of those leave you short a bedroom. You might want to look into the villas on Maria Bluff and Contant Point to see if you can find adjacent ones that fill your requirements. Both are so close to town and have great sunset views over St. Thomas in the summer.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

Liamsaunt beat me, I love the Devers Bay setting of Vida de Mar and Sunset Beach. Sunset Beach has two bedrooms that have a door between them. Dolphin Run is walkable from there on the saddle between Hart Bay and Devers, no a/c but with big breezes.
La Papaya/Allesandra.
Take a look at Virgin Grand Estates. Destination St. John has three villas there. There are at least three more on the rental market.
Cheers, RickG

t, summerwind and casa bueno are close together on mt bordeaux and easy 1 min access to cline road. cb has 3 equal inside access bdrooms and 1 on lower level. summerwind bdrms are all outside access with huge master, fairsized under master and 4th that's under greatroom. all 8 bdrooms have private baths and sw has half bath connected to groom. huge great room with large covered veranda that's on pool level offering lot of connected open space. 2 different price points. we enjoyed both and found well equipped and cared for.

My son is being married in November on st John. They have rented La Papaya and Ambiance in Chocolate Hole. THIER driveways adjoin each other. The wedding will be at La Papaya. I toured both villas and they are very nice. There are quite a few other budget minded choices in this area.
Many villas do not allow weddings or gatherings, which would include the rehearsal dinner I am planning, so my choices are somewhat limited. In fact, some of the restrictions are governed by the homeowners associations. CateredTo, who we have been renting from for 10 years does not allow weddings or gatherings at any of their villas, including the one where we were married 15 years ago.
We toured quite a few villas last summer while looking for the perfect combo. If you have a chance, take a look at Great Expectations. Great spot or a wedding, house is great for gatherings and kids.

The homeowners association on Maria Bluff does not permit gatherings either. If you are going in Sept or October, I am told they will overlook this restriction, but the parking would be a dead giveaway.

They don't want a villa wedding so finding a place that allows them isn't a concern. It will also be a very small ordeal, with just immediate family.
Thanks for the ideas, folks, keep them coming

La Papaya and Ambience would be wonderful.

Where is Allesandra with respect to La Papaya, Rick? I need one more villa for our. Guests and I would love to stay at @ Allesandra.
Re: Looking for two 4-bedroom villas adjacent to one another
k, not rick, but allesandra is next villa on left past ambiance on upper rockridge. road makes hard right as you pass allesandra and treasure ridge is just past curve on right (overlooking la paya) and next on right is magic view, formerly temptress. there are some great views to south and west in that area.

Infinity and Blue Papaya in Virgin Grande are very close to each other. Blue Papaya overlooks Infinity. And La Bella Vita is close also. Infinity is great for kids with interior stairs and door alarms for the pool level doors. Blue Papaya has a daybed / Twin room off one master. We have stayed at all three villas and love them all. My favorite is Infinity when my boys are with us, and Blue Papaya is my second favorite with the kids (ages 6 and 3)

Wow - quite a selection here. I'd also like to recommend my villa - Villa Solare (VRBO 466293) 5 BR/5BA (2 in main and 3 in guest house) on Great Cruz Bay. Located across the drive below us is Villa Colorado 4BR or next to us Villa Adagio 3BR. All have pools and A/C in bedrooms. Villa Solare has a wonderful courtyard with an assortment of flowering plants and Caribbean stone archways that would make lovely photos. Quick trip to shopping and downtown or easy find for taxi service. Let me know what you think!

Looks like Infinity is off the market? It's booked solid for all of 2016:

That stinks about Infinity. I would call the rental company to inquire. I think it might have been for sale when we stayed there in 2014.
Blue Papaya is a great option also. The twin / daybed room off one master does have its own doors to the outside, but they were hard to open. Especially with the shutters closed. The kids could not figure the doors out, so I did not worry. There are pocket doors that separate the master from the twin bed "den", so there is privacy for the adults. You can't see the pocket doors in the pictures. Plus the den has its own mini fridge which is nice for kid (or adult) beverages.
La Bella Vita is right up the street from Blue Papaya. Very short walk but I think the hill might be steep. I can't really remember. I think one house might separate Blue Papaya and La Bella Vita. Sea Forever is not located in Virgin Grand, but it is next door to La Bella Vita. Unless the new owner has installed a fence, you can walk from the drive way of Sea Forever up over the landscaping wall into the yard of La Bella Vita. But it is a little steep. However, a new outdoor kitchen and lower sundeck has been added to La Bella Vita since our stay, so this may not be possible anymore.

Vista Caribe is just across the street( driveway) from Blue Papaya. We have stayed at Vista Caribe and it is great. 3 BR in one bldg and one free standing suite with fridge and wet bar adjacent. Pool and gazebo are wonderful.
