Favorite trail

Post by Coconuts »

Over at Trip Advisor, beach-goer BostontoSTT is planning to add a hike to their upcoming visit, and asked for help in choosing a really nice one. A flurry of posts ensued, with some of the expected recommendations (I'll weigh in with the Ram Head voters), but this one by David H, of Shreveport, LA (#14, on page 2) caught my eye:

"I like the trail from the Ferry Dock to Woody's. Not too difficult going in but can be a difficult trek going out. Usually the views are pretty good but tend to get better the longer you stay. Don't worry about bringing fluids, there are plenty at trails end."

Happy weekend! You can check out the other entries here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1 ... lands.html

Agreed! Easy going in, but so hard going out! By the time I get there it will be over 2 years for me and I am LONG overdue! When the bug bites, it really gets ya!
