Kiote, Long Distance or Wayward Sailing Trip???

Post by northerngal »

I just can't decide! They all sounds great! We are a couple in our 50's that love the water and a cocktail or two and snorkeling but have never been to any other island so what do we do! HELP!!! I'm really just avoiding work and the awful snow storm going on!

We went out with Wayward Sailor on a snorkel trip and had Capt. Phil and Tarn all to ourselves. It was a great day! He's chatty and really made my shy husband comfortable. They didn't serve drinks, but I think they had beer, and we just snorkeled - didn't go island hopping.

We loved our full day charter on Long Distance several years ago. Rick and Robin are delightful people, and they took us to great snorkeling spots. The 40' boat gave the 6 guests plenty of room to sit in the cockpit or on the front deck, so it didn't feel crowded when we were sailing. Highly recommend them.
Happy trip planning!

We have been out with Capt. Phil 6 times & have been very pleased with each trip. He always takes us to great snorkeling places & is very knowledgeable about anything sea life & sailing.

Highly recommend KEKOA!! My wife and I are early 50's. A trip to St John is not complete without a daysail on KEKOA! You won't be sorry.

We went out for a full day with Wayward Sailor and Loria and her husband (that's how we met). There was a third couple with us. With seven in that cockpit, it was a little snug. Everything said above about Capt. Phil is right on the money. It was a great day. I think that is the first time we saw eagle rays. He is a great teacher and free diver.
