Any Reviews Yet - Ocean 362

Post by Bumblebee2 »

I looked but haven't seen any reviews yet for Ocean 362. I'm thinking they just opened a few days ago (in the former Zozo's location)?

They are scheduled to open on November 12.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

The restaurant will actually open on Friday, November 15. Gallows initially released the wrong date.

I think $96.00 for a steak is a wee bit high :)

$96 for a 32 oz steak, definitely for two, is comparable to their other prices. I did a quick scan of the menu, and as a guy who owns a restaurant, I'm questioning the product mix and food cost. [deleted] I'll spare the details, this menu looks preliminary.

I like a lot of what I see and think there's a niche for this kind of dining. Chef has been at resort locations, so he knows what will sell, whether that's what he wants to serve... St. John is a different market than Old San Juan. People will splurge, but a big contingent comes for the VINP with families and are on a bit of a budget with at least one picky eater in the bunch.

Cheers, RickG
