Giovanna's Giardino

Finally settled on a place for April and have reserved Giovanna's. Choosen for the the view and the location (love that side of the island), but I was not able to find any reviews so I'm kinda going in blind. So far, the owner has been very pleasant to deal with, which is a big plus for me. Anyone stayed there?

We stayed there in March. It's a very cute little cottage on Calabash Boom. The road was quite the adventure but the view was great! The cottage has a small but adequate kitchen, full bathroom and living room on the first floor. The sofa is a pull out sleeper sofa which we did not use. The couch itself I did not think was very comfortable to sit on. There is also a small TV. There is a nice private deck off of the kitchen. Down stairs, accessed by outside stairs is the bedroom and another full bathroom. The showers in both bathrooms are enclosed showers with that are not really outdoor showers but have some screened area at the top. The cottage shares wifi with the house directly above it. The biggest issue we had was the parking area. It is very small and shared between the two houses. It takes some special manuvering to get in and out of the driveway.

The cottage was very clean and neat, the bed was very comfortable and the location was great. Perfect for two people. Have fun!
