It is worth the hike. Hike is actually pretty short from Leinster Bay if you are already there. Bring lunch. There is a picnic table in the ruins...I think it is the most beautiful view on the island...

I am the most amateur - amateur photographer on the whole planet, but I love good photography....I just don't have the eye or the patience... I got an new camera for Christmas with all sorts of settings and I love playing with them - someday I might actually be able to take decent pictures. I am always jealous when some of the other forum members post their pics (especially liamsaunt and VickiH) but I know my limitations.

I keep working on it.

Love the pics and the video. The little bird chirping in the background was nice. We definitely need to do that hike next trip. The views really are spectacular. Thank you for posting.

Wow.... that was the perfect way to begin a Friday evening. Thanks for climbing to take that video. I WILL DO THIS HIKE in December. It really does look like the most beautiful view, I agree. (But you might get St John if you say that about every picture and video).
