Oasis restaurant in Coral Bay?
We'll be in Coral Bay later this month and I've heard only bits about a new restaurant called Oasis. I believe the owner is from New Orleans. Does anyone have additional info on this place? What kind of things are on the menu, price, hours? I've searched online but no luck.
Thanks!

On our last trip, this was one of our favorite places. In 2 weeks, one of the very few we went back to twice. The main menu changes everyday - usually a fish, a veggie, and 2 meat dishes. The meatloaf rocked! I think the sides stay the same, but make sure you get there before the mac & cheese run out.
Very laid back and seems to be a local favorite. Can eat there on picnic tables or takeout. Not sure what time they're open, but do believe they are closed on Mondays. Karen - who is the owner/chef - is super nice!

Sounds good - Thanks!
kklay - I believe it is across from Reggie's/Cases by the Sea. If I'm mistaken, someone please let me know.

It's between cocolobo plaza and cases by the sea. It's not a restaurant-mostly take-out with some picnic tables. We ate there in February - it was delicious. As noted, the macaroni and cheese was fantastic (and I don't usually even like mac and cheese).

just to the left of cases by the sea there is also a place that usually caters to the west indian folks and has awsome portions when its open (chicken dinner must have weighed 2 pounds)

The place is owned by Karen Granitz. She was the assistant manager of the Maho Bay Restaurant a few years back.
She basically has taken Maho's theme of changing the menu every night. The food is really reasonable and the place also has the 1st drive-thru on St. John. You can get food or a beverage of your choice through the window. Oh,and Karen is from Texas.
