Donkey Diner Update?
Donkey Diner Update?
We are headed in next week (OMG, getting so excited!) and we are wondering about the status of Donkey Diner...it's always been one of our favorite spots for breakfast!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, it closed in May and was immediately put on the market.

Are there any new dining options in Coral Bay since our visit 2 years ago? We love Shipwreck Landing and Skinny Legs...anything else wonderful?
Re: Donkey Diner Update?
Definitely Pickles in Paradise. Food is excellent, prices are lots less than Donkey Diner, (and I was a very enthusiastic DD fan), and the donkeys are there. At the intersection, instead of heading toward .east End, turn toward Lameshur. It's right after the curve, before you get to the Love City Market turn. On the right. Tell Bev hi from Megan's Florida friend.

Sunday brunch at Miss Lucy's is always good. Aqua Bistro and the Tourist Trap are good options for lunch and dinner. We also picked up sandwiches to go from Pickles . . .they were delicious.

Had a great lunch at Island Blues lately. I second the vote for Pickles!!

I believe brunch is from 10:00 to 2:00. People get there early to get a table but they don't start taking orders until 10:00. We were lucky, we arrived at 10:00, got the last table near the parking lot just as the waitress was handing out menus. She told us we got there just in time. Little did we know how true that statement was. We were the first to be served our breakfast and when we left, people who arrived before us still had not been served.
