May 3 – 11, 2013 Trip Report
Finally caught up on reviewing my photos and videos from our trip. Here's a brief summary of our trip and a link to our photos and videos. http://smu.gs/10IUuhK
Friday, went on Delta thru Atlanta. Made it to Coconut Hill Cottage about 4 in the afternoon. Up route 108 on the Coral Bay side. No problems getting there. It’s our second time to stay there and our ninth trip to St. John. Went to Aqua Bistro for dinner. Had the Ponzu Tuna which was great.
Saturday went to Maho Beach. Saw turtle on my first snorkel. Cooked out at the villa. Cinnamon Bay was our agenda for Sunday. Went to Shipwreck for dinner.
Monday was a rain day and went to Caneel Beach Bar and tried out their new sushi. Rain didn’t slack off and didn’t get a chance to try the beaches at Caneel. Ate at the villa that night.
Tuesday went to Vie’s beach and ate at Skinny Legs for lunch. Dinner was at Mrs.Lucy's. Enjoyed the Avocado Snapper and the Coconut Grouper.
Wednesday at Francis Beach . Ate pizza at Donkey Diner for dinner.
Thurday is another rain day. It finally stopped around 1. Went to Skinny Legs for dinner.
Friday went to Haulover South. Saw a large palometa. In the afternoon we went to Hawksnest. Ate breakfast at Donkey Dinner and dinner at Aqua Bistro.
Saturday was last day. Charlotte Amalie ferry was cancelled and had to take Red Hook ferry. We were late for our 2:20 flight and barely made it on the plane. A great trip as always. Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos.

Trip report pics are just beautiful, love the mom hen and peep, and the sushi...I think we will have to pay Caneel a visit come August, yum!

You got me right from the start with the Ponzu Tuna pic. My absolute favorite on island meal. Aqua Bistro on Friday night is a must!
And I really enjoyed the first video, the one of the waves. Got me to thinking about how much I love getting to Jumbie early in the morning, being the only one there and just laying with my eyes closed listening to the water. Why have I never recorded that?? It would be perfect to fall asleep to at night. It's now on my to do list for August - thanks for the idea!
